Lawrence Russell fonds. [1965-1972].

The fonds consists of material relating to book reviews by Russell, including Russell's correspondence with Howard Gerwing and Russell's articles about George Cuomo, Robin Skelton, Stanley Cooperman, John Newlove, and Liam O'Flaherty; and, drafts of Russell's unpublished novels and short stories.

Robin Skelton was born at Easington, East Yorkshire, England. He received a B.A. and M.A. from Leeds University and taught English Literature at Manchester University from 1953 to 1962.
